Dave Mack CTP, has extensive experience in working with management and boards of directors at financially distressed organizations, helping them achieve successful outcomes and meet the needs of both shareholders and creditors.

His diverse background includes working as an operating executive, a financial executive and an investment banker, serving both as a turnaround professional and a financial adviser. Before founding Pathfinder, he was a managing director at Morris Anderson, a senior managing director with Mesirow Financial Consulting, and managing partner of White Oak Group.

During his successful restructuring experience, his roles have included CEO, president, CFO, chief restructuring officer and special adviser and consultant to the board of directors. His clients include The Wisconsin Cheeseman, Senco Products, West Irving Die Castings,, Metro Financial Services, Quest Industries, , Salerno Cookie, Wisconsin Tool & Stamping, Arkay Industries and MacCal Management Inc.

Mack founded Mack Resources, a private investment firm, and was president and chief operating officer at LPI Corporation, a Michigan office furniture and automotive supplier. He also has been director of new business development and corporate controller at Allnet Communications Services Inc., a $400 million public telecommunications company, and was manager, corporate finance at GTE Corporation.

A certified turnaround professional (CTP), Mack is a recent past president of the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association — the largest chapter in the organization — and a director of the Association’s International Board. Other recent directorships have included Arnold Defense and Electronics, Appliance Control Group, The Wisconsin Cheeseman and Salerno Cookie.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in finance from New York University Graduate School of Business.

Paul Ossa is a seasoned operator and advisor to under-performing enterprises. For more than twenty years he has been working as an operations executive. He has extensive experience in consolidations, divestments, acquisitions, shutdowns, re-alignments and expansions.

Paul has utilized his expertise in streamlining operational processes with Fortune 1000 and Global 5000 companies to maximize efficiencies and production capacities at middle-market manufacturing and distribution companies. A long-time implementer and practitioner of just-in-time (JIT) inventory and manufacturing process management, he participated in the first case study of JIT implementation in North America. From multi-billion dollar hotels to $100 million shipbuilders to $4 million fertilizer companies, he has “leaned” a diverse multitude of operations, including: automotive, HVAC systems, CNG and LNG system manufacturers, environmental and hazardous waste with international 3rd party logistics services, after-market automotive seasonal industries, Maquiladora (In Bond operations), P3s, defense, passive solar energy collectors, straw board panel manufacturing, used oil recovery, lubricant stock rerefining, and diesel fuels, food drying and processing. Clients and companies include: ARA Automotive, Wynn’s Climate Systems, ATK NA & Vege de Mexico, Springfield Wire, Emerson, A.O Smith, Aladdin Casino and Hotel, Olympic Container, Acme Radiator & A/C and the AM General HMMVV (HUMVEE) program, Advantex-Coserv Electric Cp-op, Aero Littoral French Regional Airline, Bender Ship Building, and Regenerated Resources , Industria Core and Calsol.

Prior to merging with Pathfinder Group, he was a Managing Partner at International Business Enterprises (IBE). Before IBE, Paul was a co-founder of OCC Logistics with Olympic Container Corporation. Since 2000, he has sat on the Board of Directors of The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) (DFW Chapter). He has been a speaker on several international conferences in the safe handling, transportation, logistics, and emergency response of hazardous materials, wastes, and regulated commodities.

Paul holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a Certified Hazardous Materials, Haz-Woper, and Emergency Responder.

Jonathan White brings 24 years of experience in strategy and finance, having built successful careers in Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, and as a CFO. His core skills include financial management, strategy development and execution, and business acquisitions and divestitures.

Experiences include:

Serving as CFO of a lighting manufacturer, helping transform a two distressed lighting companies into a successful business. Mr. White was instrumental in repositioning the product portfolio and restructuring the balance sheet, including divesting non-core businesses, acquiring a complementary business, establishing a Joint Venture in China, leading refinancings, and serving as CFO of the combined business and interim general manager of the acquired add-on business. These two businesses, which had shrinking sales and negative profits when acquired, have now returned to growth and profitability.
Serving as President of boutique investment bank and as Vice President of a regional investment bank. Combined, his experience exceeds 50 transactions spread among corporate, privately-held, and private equity clients.

Serving as a Corporate Development Officer for two global, publicly-traded companies, where he filled multiple roles including strategy development, manufacturing management, and M&A.

Mr. White holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa) and a M.B.A. from the Darden School of the University of Virginia.
